As you can see above, from part of my most recent pick up of good local fruit and veg, I’ve got some purple basil to work with — normally it’s been the green stuff with me, but why not purple indeed?
So I want to do something fun with it, and an idle google search of recipes includes a basic enough pesto and a poached fish dish, but frankly I’m open to anything and would love to try something really out there. If you have some ideas, let me know!
