Meanwhile the garden thrives as ever

Rocking the fiddle in SF on the 4th of July

No, not me. But I was up there for a few days just now visiting my sis and hanging with friends and the like, and enjoying the holiday. Some photos are here but one of the more memorable points of the holiday itself was when my sis’s friend Jenise (I hope I spelled that right…) brought her fiddle to a party at my sis’s insistence. At some point other folks started joining in and it seemed right to get some video footage of it all (with various beer pong-related comments in the background, admittedly).
