Easing into August

As perhaps has been all too clear this past week, I’m taking a bit of a holiday from hyperdetailed blogging of any sort — after all, summer is for vacations! But there’s been plenty to think and write about, and I’ll squeeze in some initial thoughts over the weekend, with more next week. Right now, though, I can sum up my week with two photos:

This weekend for me includes birthday parties, get-togethers with friends, mini-golf, margaritas and more besides. And sleep. I’m going to like the sleep part. Hope everyone has a good Friday!
