Kinda not much to say here that I don’t say already in the various pages I’ve listed as links. So I’d say check those out first. I’m just a guy, really, and I like to write a lot. If you’re absolutely compelled to scrounge up a resume or the like, my Wikipedia page is as good a spot as any as it lists all the various places I’ve written for, notably Allmusic.com.
That said, there’s been enough posts from me on here that provide a bit of a canned history, or at least an overview of my basic beliefs and attitudes, that I’ll link those. Read them and you’ll get a general picture!

Hello Mr Raggett.
I like your blog, very interesting read!
after much searching on the internet for the illustrious “Five EP’s” by Disco Inferno i was pointed in your direction by various blogs. this apparent holy grail of popular music is something i have been itching to hear for many months now.
if you could help in my search at all it would be greatly (and forever) appreciated.
appologies in advance if this isn’t the place to ask such a question.

Hey Ned! How are you? I came across your blog upon googling what happened to Linden Barrett. I heard that he died, but I didn’t know how. Wow. Pretty tragic. It’s really shocking. Did they find out what really happened that night?
Anyways, hope all is well. Do you still keep in touch with other KUCI folks? I keep in touch with Willis Wong and Kirk Yoshida.

Amazing! I did indeed, how do you do? Yeah, I was there from 1979 to 1981.

Hi Ned,
enjoyed your talk at EMP pop conference (especially as a fellow librarian)! Wanted to send you a whimsical article I wrote on music cataloguing problems to ned@cuci.org but email got rejected….
I think you would be amused by it, tell me where to send it!
cheers,

Ned,
It was a pleasure working for you at Gateway. You are the best boss I have ever had. You were understanding and compassionate to me in a tough time of my life and I’m sorry I let you down. You’re a good man Ned. Hope this is expressed better late than never.
Best of Luck,
Vincent
